Day 1 - Arrive Athens

On arrival in Athens, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the evening you may enjoy the optional Athens by Night tour. Overnight is in Athens.

Day 2 – Athens

Pick up in the morning from your hotel. From the Acropolis to Omonia Square, you'll see with this full day trip all the famous sites of ancient and modern Athens. Offering a perfect overview of the modern city, this guided tour will help you get your bearings if this is your first visit to Athens. The Athens full-day tour depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and Temple of Olympian Zeus. You will then drive past the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square ,Russian Orthodox Church, and finally ACROPOLIS. Continue the expert guided Athens sightseeing and Acropolis museum one day tour with a pleasant short walk passing by Herodion and Dionysos Theater, in order to visit the ACROPOLIS museum. Avoid and skip the lines of the new museum. Main attractions such as votives, statues from archaic period, Caryatids, and of course the Parthenon hall with the metopes, the pediments and the frieze will impress you. After a morning tour full of images continue in a local restaurant under the slopes of Acropolis for lunch. After lunch depart for a wonderful drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf, passing through some of Athens most beautiful suburbs (Glyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza) to CAPE SOUNION. Cape Sounion is only 45 miles (70 kilometers) from Athens, making it the perfect lazy afternoon tour destination. The Cape's Temple of Poseidon is perched on a rocky hilltop overlooking the sea. The view across the Aegean is magnificent with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world, extending all the way to Kea and the Peloponnese on a clear day. The Temple of Poseidon was built in 44 B.C., and many of its original Doric columns are still standing. One of the columns has a graffiti left by none other than Lord Byron in the early 1800s. Return to your hotel late in the afternoon. Overnight is in Athens. (B)

Day 3 - Athens – Mykonos

This morning, transfer to Piraeus pier for your ferry to Mykonos. The rest of the day is yours to explore the most famous of the Cycladic Islands. Overnight is in Mykonos. (B)

Day 4 – Mykonos

The day is at leisure as you enjoy all Mykonos has to offer, from beautiful sandy beaches to archaeological wonders to the extravagant nightlife! Overnight is in Mykonos. (B)

Day 5 - Mykonos – Santorini

Board a high-speed ferry for the stunning volcanic island of Santorini. Regarded by many as the most spectacular Greek island, Santorini boasts ancient rock formations, raw lava-layered cliffs, and beautiful black sand beaches. Overnight Is in Santorini. (B)

Day 6 - Santorini – Volcano & hot springs boat tour

In the morning, you will be picked up from a designated pick up point and taken to Athinios port in order to take the traditional boat. The first stop is to the islet of Nea Kameni where you’ll have the opportunity to climb to the crater (1 ½ hour). Next the boat stops to Palaia Kameni for a short swim to the Hot Springs, which are considered to have healing powers (30 minutes). Afterwards head to Thirassia island, where you have 2 hours free to explore the island, swim or have lunch. Finally, the boat sails along the coast and ends up to the port of Athinios. Overnight is in Santorini. (B)

Day 7- Santorini - Athens

This morning some free time for last shopping and later, transfer by ferry to Athens. Arrive Athens late in the evening and transfer to your hotel. Overnight is in Athens. (B)

Day 8 - Depart Athens to Turkey (Istanbul)

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Turkey. On arrival in Istanbul you will be transferred to the hotel for check in. Later in the afternoon afternoon proceed for a half-day tour to visit City Walls, Golden Horn and cable car to Pierre Loti Hill. Later, enjoy Bosphorus Cruise along the Bosphorus an amazing cruise between the two continents EUROPE and ASIA. Enjoy beauty of the ancient wooden mansions, palaces of marble, fortresses, and small fishing villages, Rumeli Fortress and Leander’s Tower(no interior visit). Overnight Is in Istanbul.

Day-9 Istanbul

Today after breakfast proceed for a half-day sightseeing tour of the Sultanahmet district in the heart of old Istanbul. Visit St. Sophia church which is one of the marvels of world architecture and its massive dome dominates the skyline of old Istanbul. (On Mondays replaced by the Chora Church Museum).Later visit the Blue Mosque, walk through the Hippodrome, the stadium of the ancient Byzantium, finish the tour at the Grand Bazaar where you can shop for carpets and kilms, silks, jewellery, ceramics, icons, leather goods and more. Overnight is in Istanbul. (B)

Day-10 Istanbul - Kayseri (By Flight) then to – Cappadocia (by road approx. 1hr 15mins)

Today board flight to Kayseri, (arrival to Kayseri Apt has to be latest at 07:40am). On arrival proceed to Cappadocia a city known for underground warren of corridors, chapels, warehouses and living spaces that comprise the underground cave cities of Cappadocia. Later visit Red Valley, the Old Cavusin Village, the Kaymakli Underground City and Pigeon Valley. Overnight is in Cappadocia. (B, L, D)

Day-11 Cappadocia

Today early morning we recommend a glide over captivating landscapes in a fleet of hot air balloons (optional). Later proceed to visit Devrent Valley, Monks Valley, Avanos, Goreme Open Air Museum, Cave Churches, Uchisar. Overnight is in Cappadocia. (B, L, D)

Day-12 Cappadocia - Izmir (by flight) - Kusadasi (by road approx 1hr 20 mins)

Today proceed to Kayseri airport for your flight to Izmir. On arrival in Izmir, travel to Kusadasi by road. Rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Kusadasi (B)

Day-13 Kusadasi

Today proceed to Pamukkale Tour. Visit the famous Cotton Fortress and Hierapolis Ancient Site, including magnificently preserved necropolis, the main street, gates, the thermal baths, the Greco Roman theatre and the Basilica of St. Philippe. Overnight is in Kusadasi. (B, L, D)

Day-14 Kusadasi

Today proceed to Ephesus ancient city. Visit the ancient city and the site of Temple of Artemis, experience Turkish handicrafts and visit the last home of the Virgin Mary. Overnight is in Kusadasi. ( B & L)

Day-15 Depart Kusadasi

Today, you will be transferred to the airport for flight back home or to your next destination. (B)
