spot the Big Five (leopard, lion, rhino, elephant and buffalo) in its national
parks, discover World Heritage–listed archaeological sites and stand in awe of
one of the natural wonders of the world, Victoria Falls.
Day 1 Arrive Harare -
To Mana Pools NP
Upon arrival in Harare, fly to Mana Pools National Park,
which occupies a beautiful stretch of land along the Zambezi River. This remote
area boasts spectacular natural beauty and a rich diversity of game. Ruckomechi

Day 2 – 3 Mana Pools
National Park
Mana Pools is renowned for its large numbers of elephant,
buffalo, hippo and eland. In the driest months, elephant stand on their hind
legs to feed from acacia trees that bear fruit. Predators such as lion, leopard
and wild dog are all found in the area. Birdlife is superb, and in the dry
months, the photogenic Carmine bee-eaters nest in colonies on the riverbanks.
You have a choice of activities, including wildlife viewing in open 4x4
vehicles, on motorized pontoon boats, on foot, in hides and in canoes. Ruckomechi

Day 4 To Matusadona
National Park
Following breakfast this morning, depart Mana Pools and take
to the air on a scenic flight to the shores of Lake Kariba where you continue
by boat to your tented camp with views across the lake to the Matusadona Mountains.
After checking in, you have time at leisure before an afternoon game drive or Lake

Day 5 Matusadona
National Park
Enjoy a full day exploring this vast park, home to an
important population of endangered black rhino. The elephant here are unique in
that they have adapted to a semi-aquatic lifestyle along the lakeshore, which
attracts many of the park's wildlife population. In addition to game drives,
explore on foot and boat on Lake Kariba. Changa Camp (B, L, D)
Day 6 To Hwange
National Park
Continue by light aircraft to Hwange today. Upon arrival,
take a scenic drive through the park to your camp, which overlooks a pan

Day 7 – 8 Hwange
National Park
Hwange National Park is home to some of southern Africa's
last great elephant, buffalo and sable herds.Along the Botswana border, the
easternmost tongues of the Kalahari sands creep into the country and mix with
the teak forests of the interior, so that desert-adapted animals share the same
habitat with woodland species. Embark on twice-daily game drives and try out
the log pile hide, where you can view elephant very closely as they come to
quench their thirst at the water hole. Linkwasha

Day 9 to Victoria
Falls
After a last game drive, depart on a scenic flight to the
awe-inspiring Victoria Falls. Upon arrival, continue to your camp in the nearby
bush with views of Victoria Falls' spray and the gorges of the Zambezi River.

Day 10 Victoria Falls
Embark on a morning elephant-back safari. This afternoon,
enjoy a guided walk of nearby Victoria Falls, one of the Seven Natural Wonders
of the World. Afterwards, celebrate your last evening in Zimbabwe during a sunset

Day 11 Depart
Victoria Falls.
Bid farewell to Africa after breakfast this morning as you
are escorted to the Victoria Falls Airport for your onward flight. (B)
